Haley Dixon, Women’s and Children’s Services Director at Memorial Satilla Health, has been named the recipient of the 2025 Randy Sharpe Health Hero Award. She was recognized during the Waycross-Ware County Chamber of Commerce’s 91st Annual Banquet.

Dixon, a dedicated member of the Memorial Satilla Health team for 11 years, is known for her compassionate leadership and commitment to clinical excellence. As a transformational nurse leader, she has made a lasting impact on patients, families, and staff through her focus on high-quality, patient-centered care.

Her work extends well beyond the hospital walls. Dixon is actively involved in community outreach, leading educational initiatives focused on women’s and children’s health. She organizes an annual Community Baby Shower to support new and expecting families and recently hosted a Butterfly Release Ceremony to honor families who have experienced the loss of a newborn or infant.

“Haley’s compassion, resilience, and dedication truly embody what it means to serve others,” said Chief Nursing Officer Jen Weaver. “She continuously goes above and beyond to support our patients and strengthen our community.”

“I am truly honored and grateful to receive this award. It is a privilege to care for others, and I strive each day to serve with compassion, kindness, and purpose,” Dixon said. “I’m especially thankful for the love and support of my family who inspire me daily.”

Memorial Satilla Health is proud to celebrate Dixon’s achievements and her ongoing commitment to improving the health and well-being of families across the region.
