This community and hospital deserve great leadership, and as such, it has been critically important that the right leaders were selected to continue the hospital's commitment to improving the care available to Ware and Pierce county residents. Memorial Satilla Health is proud to announce the addition of two new hospital leaders to the team. On Monday, Aug. 28, Bobby McCullough assumed his role as the hospital's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and Mark Roberts started as the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Bobby and Mark will be joining Patrick Sloan, who recently began serving as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Memorial Satilla Health in July, and has also been serving as the Interim CEO from July 26 to August 28.

McCullough joins the Memorial Satilla Health team by way of Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, where he served as the Chief Operating Officer. With him comes more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, and a track record of success in launching new service lines, improving patient satisfaction, expanding services and facilities, and major renovation projects, including a $23 million ER expansion project. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Auburn University and his Masters in Healthcare Administration at the University of Central Florida.

As the CEO, Bobby will lead the Memorial Satilla Health team in its efforts to expand services and streamline processes in order to further improve the quality-of-care patients receive when they visit the hospital.

Mark Roberts is joining the Memorial Satilla Health team after serving as the Associate Vice President of Ancillary Services at Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. He oversaw various support services and departments, and has a strong history in helping hospitals grow through major expansions, as he did with a 200-bed expansion at UC Davis Medical Center. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Management and Human Relations from Mid-America Nazarene University and his Masters in Healthcare Administration from Webster University.

As the COO, Mark will be responsible for much of the day-to-day operations within the hospital, and will oversee multiple service lines.

Patrick Sloan came to Memorial Satilla Hospital in July from Beaufort Memorial Hospital in South Carolina, and has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare finance and operations, including serving as part of three hospital acquisition teams. This experience has been vital as Memorial Satilla Health has worked to transition under Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). He earned his Bachelors of Science degree from Lander University, and his Masters of Healthcare Administration from Pfeiffer University.

As CFO, Patrick has been instrumental in ensuring the hospital manages its budget and finances while implementing multiple programs to ensure the facility is appropriately staffed. Additionally, Patrick has also been leading the Memorial Satilla Health team as the acting CEO while they searched for the right individual to fill the position permanently.

These three join Holli Sweat, who has served as the Chief Nursing Officer since 1998, and been caring for Ware and Pierce Counties since 1984, when she began working at this hospital. As Chief Nursing Officer, Holli is responsible for overseeing and managing the nursing staff at the hospital, and has worked alongside Patrick and former Interim CEO Roger Forgey in improving the care the hospital provides.

"We are excited to welcome Bobby and Mark as leaders at Memorial Satilla Health, and can't wait to see how they will shape and mold the hospital in order to improve the care that we are able to provide to our community. Between them, they have more than 30 years of experience in providing quality healthcare, and we are lucky to have them as we grow our services for our community," said Patrick Sloan, CFO and Interim CEO.
