What to bring
Please bring your written doctor’s order, insurance, Medicare or Medicaid card and a valid photo ID with you. Without your physician’s order, card and ID, your test may be delayed.
Your diagnostic lab test
A lab test requires a sample of your blood or body fluids. These samples will then be analyzed to give your doctor important information about your health. Along with your medical history, symptoms, physical exams and other information, lab tests help build a complete picture of the status of your health, so your doctor can plan the best treatment for you.
Lab test results are reported to your doctor usually on the same day as you have the test, unless your sample is sent to an outside lab. The laboratory staff is not authorized to interpret or distribute your laboratory results. Obtaining a copy of your results can easily be done through our medical records department.
