Accredited since 2012, Memorial Satilla Health undergoes a rigorous evaluation process and onsite survey every three years. The CoC Approvals program encourages hospitals and treatment centers to focus on quality within their cancer programs. These programs are emboldened to expand services and reach out to the community exploring cancer prevention, early diagnosis, pretreatment evaluation, staging, optimal treatment, rehabilitation, surveillance for recurrent disease, psychosocial support, survivorship, and end of life care.
